Description

Spaniel (springer) | Original hand-printed Lino cut.

I begin every print with a hand drawn image this is then transferred onto a block of prepared lino. I hand carve each block individually. Once the block is ready for printing I ink and print the block by hand. Each print is individually hand-printed using a baren, this process allows for them to be completely unique and original.

I aim to create the best quality prints with the most sustainable materials possible. I use easy carve lino to create the block ready for printing, these are long life blocks allowing for multiple use and less waste. All prints are made using Black Cranfield caligo safe wash relief ink, a non-toxic vegetable oil based high quality pigment printmaking ink with increased light-fastness.
I print all prints onto A4 (210x297mm) 190g, OFF-WHITE Kent paper (wood free, acid free, smooth surface).

DIMENSIONS:

Paper : A4 – 210x297mm (8.3 x 11.7 inches)
Print : Approx. 200x150mm (7.9 x 5.9 inches)

All prints are carved into 200x150mm blocks, sizes will vary, as each carving is individual to the image composition.

PACKAGING:

I package all prints in strong white A4 cardboard shipping boxes to ensure your prints are properly protected during postage. I back each print with thick card stock and seal it in a crystal clear bio-degradable cellophane sleeve. This allows for your print to arrive in the best condition ready to be enjoyed ☺

I dispatched orders within 1-3 working days.
